How does your personal style reflect the aesthetic in your house?
I would have to say my style is best reflected in both the creativity and comfort I’ve brought into my house. I wanted the space I spend the most amount of time to be warm and inviting, with something to always look at. My style is pretty neutral with a hint of industrial masculinity, a lot of the smaller trinkets around my place reflect that aesthetic.
What’s a decorating hack for your home?
Accessorize your home as you would your outfit. I’ve covered my walls with art that either inspires me or that I’ve created. I’ve also built up a collection of plants that bring more life into a room than you’d think – and despite what everyone thinks, it’s not that hard to keep them all alive.
How would you sum up your personal style in one word?
Technical-Chic OR Tastefully-Living-In-2025 (You Choose)
Since you live and work in your space, how do you separate the two?
First moving into this space it took me a while to figure out how I was going to make it work. I strategically positioned my desk in a way where I am able to look outside (which is essential for me) but also be surrounded by the office feel it’s created. Having a proper work space definitely helps me stay focused, but I’m also a sucker for working on my couch late at night.
As a full time freelancer what motivates you to get up and kill it?
I’ve always had the mindset of making each day better than the day before – and I think that translates with my design and work. I am motivated to get up and transform the things in front of me into something better than they once were. Setting goals, writing lists and being able to cross stuff off motivates me to keep going… Along with paying the bills.
If you weren’t in graphic design what’s your other dream job?
Something revolving around fashion. That’s what first drew me to the world of design.
You’ve done tons of work with us as a brand (shout out to the lighters and papers) – What’s a dream brand you’d love to work with?
